    I’ve tried another learning system but they kept wanting more money. The faster you learnt the more money they wanted (Marcus Santamaria). With Babbel you can do a lesson every day or as often as you feel like it, they keep up with you and you can repeat them as often as you like. You hear the words and phrases and the app listens to you as you repeat it, making you pronounce words with a good Spanish accent. You can quiz yourself in the reviewing tab with flash cards of words or written and see how much you remember but you get a review lesson after every section of two lessons anyway, so you can see if you need to repeat it. I’ve learnt so much that I’ve managed to get by in a totally Spanish speaking village and I’ve only just finished the beginners and started the pre-intermediating courses. Very reasonable price for all you get. Highly recommended.

    I have been trying to find the perfect app for me to help learn my German.. I never really wanted to pay for them because I never thought they would live up to the standard as I bought German courses online and I just did not like the lay out of them.. but babbel on the other hand it is my favourite!!   • Needs more free sessions

    Any app that can help with languages is always going to be a hit, most schools (like in ireland) teach french irish german and if you can afford the full version of this app then happy days, but i see the developer replied about the irish language being added and this would be awesome, it helped me to learn some french and the rest i googled while visiting, the app needs more free sessions with minor common words and it should be paid for for advanced sentences as I would not delete the app so quickly when done with the free sessions, this app has great potential it just needs more free sessions for people starting off with a new language eg where is the bus station/shop/airport/taxi practical stuff that is available on google.
