    WTA

    [edit]

There is a counterpart for women tennis players, see en:Template:WTA. The base url is http://www.wtatennis.com/players/player/, followed by an id ("9044" for Serena Williams, e.g.). Would it be possible to integrate it into this property, or should we introduce a new property?--Kompakt (talk) 07:18, 29 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

I think that a new property for WTA id would be better. Also property for ITF id would be good: Q13406804. --Stryn (talk) 08:28, 30 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
    I agree. I've just made proposals for both properties on Wikidata:Property proposal/Person.--Kompakt (talk) 09:46, 30 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

    Format

    [edit]

The website itself uses lowercase for identifiers (e.g., https://www.atptour.com/en/players/matthew-ebden/e690/overview), but we predominantely use uppercase (atm i see only handful of references where it's lowercase). changed regex to allow only uppercase values but i don't mind if somebody changes it to accept only lowercase.
