Something ran afoul on lanes 23 and 24 of the Sky Bowl Fairlanes bowling center tonight. The name of the game Turkey bowl, the object towing the frozen bird as the crow flies straight at the pit. The entry fee to this highly competitive event canned food that the needy can gobble up this holiday season. The attraction why I think it's like any other sport, it's the, it's the action, it's the excitement. It's the taking that turkey and seeing it knock the pens down. Top flight athletes flocked to this event, all eager not to throw that embarrassing butter ball. That would be gutter ball. There was talent here. Cindy May through the evening's first strike. Her secret just to throw it down there and get them all. And how do you think you did? I did just fine. Not to be outdone, Cheryl Neal's frozen turkey found its mark, but she was modest about her success. Tell me what your secret is. I don't have one. It was luck. trust me, it was luck. The thrill of competition got the crowd roaring. Fans were anxious to see these bowling birds of *** feather knock nothing out of each other. Wendy Gio, Florida's 2 News, Orlando.
