Why Thoughtworks?
Being a Thoughtworker is more than just a job. It's a shared commitment to revolutionizing technology – for our clients, society and ourselves – and advocating for an equitable future. For over 30 years, we’ve delivered extraordinary impact through our culture and tech excellence, helping our clients solve complex business problems with technology as the differentiator.
Our clients have bold ambitions. Staying competitive in a world of constant change demands ongoing digital transformation and modernization. That’s where we come in. We partner with some of the world’s leading businesses – from scale-ups to global Fortune 500 enterprises – to drive innovation and disruptive thinking, and turn big ambitions into reality.
When it comes to interviewing for tech careers at Thoughtworks, we focus on outcomes and the belief that your interview experience should be collaborative and enjoyable. You will first speak with one of our recruiters, followed by a technical interview – possibly consisting of a pair programming session, case study or design challenge, depending on the role – and conversations about leadership, technology and our culture.
One of the best questions candidates ask our recruiters is: ‘What will I actually be doing as a consultant at Thoughtworks?’ Here, you’ll work in collaborative and purpose-led teams to create impactful solutions for clients from a variety of industries. For example, you could influence the digital strategy of a retail giant, launch a new mobile application for a bank or redesign platforms using event sourcing and intelligent data pipelines.
Our entry-level careers are designed for graduates and career changers ready to begin their tech journey. We offer structured support, continuous learning and mentorship throughout your first year at Thoughtworks. A key part of this is Thoughtworks University (TWU), our global learning program that combines immersive training, peer collaboration and real client experience to help you grow with purpose and confidence.
At Thoughtworks we offer well-rounded benefits to support your personal and professional development goals, as well as your health and wellbeing needs. On top of this, we also offer a variety of perks that cover many categories such as: transportation, paid and unpaid leaves, referral bonuses, a laptop buyback program and more.
At Thoughtworks we help you shape your tech career journey, your way, with interactive tools, development programs, and supportive teammates and leaders. From our first-year experience program and Thoughtworks University for entry-level joiners just starting their tech careers, to capability academies and certifications for growing technologists and leadership development programs.
