The Minnesota Senate provides the opportunity for those interested in the legislative process to receive a firsthand look at life in a Senate office. Internships are available late-January through May, with applications accepted in September and October prior to the start of a new legislative session.

The Minnesota Senate will begin accepting applications for the 2026 Legislative Session on Monday, September 1, 2025.
