In a TikTok video that has captured the internet's heart with its display of pure, unwavering friendship, Jude carried all the emotions of his best friend, Amanda Pacropis' wedding day. Pacropis, 29, spoke to Newsweek about Jude's reaction, from the first look to the ceremony.

More Than Just a Friend

The depth of Jude’s emotion, which Pacropis described as "overwhelming," is rooted in their long history together. Pacropis and Jude have been "friends" since she was just 11 years old.

"I say 'friends' in quotation marks because we are more than that," Pacropis explained. Jude was initially friends with—and even briefly dated—Pacropis' older sister, but the three quickly became an inseparable trio.

The most defining moment of their bond came when Pacropis was a teenager.

“Our mom passed when I was 15 and he was there with us every step of the way and grieved that loss as his own too,” Pacropis shared. The strength of their relationship continues today: “We talk every single day, have endless jokes, and he is just such a rock in my life."

She was not at all surprised by his reaction on her wedding day.

"We often joked about seeing him crying and wiping his tears with a Dior handkerchief, and the vision came true—minus the Dior part," she said. "He is such an emotional guy, and it was like seeing his baby sister all grown up."

His crying was so contagious that it almost derailed the ceremony. "In the clip of me at the altar, I’m saying, 'I can’t look at you' because he was making me cry too much," Pacropis added. "We’ve been through so much...I think it’s overwhelming for him to see it all pay off."

A Viral Invitation

The intensity of Jude’s emotional support struck a deep chord with viewers, many of whom recognized themselves in his actions.

"I am unfortunately a Jude, and I cry at all big life moments for my people," one commenter wrote. "My friend, when she had a baby, I sobbed so hard—cause how beautiful!" Another person felt the strength of the bond and the history behind the tears: "You can tell Jude has seen her in every phase of her life. This was his Roman Empire for her: getting the love she deserved, and he probably secretly prayed for this for her."

The consensus across the comment section was that everyone needs a "Jude" in their life. One viewer was so moved they issued a spontaneous invitation: "Jude, you’re invited to my wedding."

Pacropis, whose friend Jude is currently trying to make it as an actor in Los Angeles, feels lucky to have him. She summed up his emotion simply. “He is just so beyond happy for us," she said. "He loves the guys we’ve ended up with."
