A bit of news: our parent company Doist is now Todoist. 🎉 We're changing our parent company name from Doist to Todoist to match the product you already know (and let's be real, most of you were calling us Todoist anyway). That means this page is going away soon. To keep up with all things Todoist (and more!), go follow the Todoist so you’re there when the change happens. Don’t worry, we’ll remind you! What's not changing: the tool, the posts, the team, the async remote-first culture, the career opportunities, and the obsession with helping you and your team get things done. Same company, same tool. Just a new place to follow us. See you over there 👉 Todoist

Kinda chic to... - have 3 work beverages on your desk at all times ☕️ - finally close your 42 emotional support browser tabs (because it's all in Todoist) - not be the only one who knows what's due this week - get excited about the "task complete" sound ✔️ - hit "reschedule all" for next week on a Friday What'd we miss?

💡Todoist Tip #1 Maybe I'll start a series? Anyway, here's my favorite hidden gem: When I'm collaborating in a shared workspace project, I use Insights to filter by assignee. One click and I can see just my tasks, or switch to a teammate to see what's on their plate. It's a small feature, but it makes questions like “What's on my plate?” much quicker to answer. One thing I especially appreciate: my teammates built this feature, and we all use it in our day-to-day work. Dogfooding at its best. How do you keep track of who's doing what in your team projects? How many times must we "circle back"... 🫠 If you keep hitting "mark unread" to track to-dos, this one's for you. Getting work out of the chat (where it inevitably gets lost or you spend your morning digging for it) and into your calendar. 🤝 (You can even create the task from Slack via our integration; No need for context switching.)

Arriving at Todoist Connect in Denmark. Day 0. A small paper bag was waiting in my room with my name on it. Inside was a Lego minifigure of me. Glasses, beard, a blue shirt with “ALEX” on the front. A custom Doistgard tote bag. And a note saying the company had made a donation in all of our names to support people affected by war. I stood there for a moment just looking at the Lego. Someone had taken the time to think about what would make each of us feel welcome before the week had even started. You can feel that kind of care. #RemoteWork #CompanyCulture #TeamRetreats Todoist Doist

Admittedly this probably isn’t the sexiest post ever, but I think it’s pretty cool that we’re “dogfooding” our own product by using to Todoist to run our entire company retreat right now ✅ Every session, meal, and excursion for ~100 people on 10 different teams lives in one shared project, and everyone experiences it their way: - Flip between task, calendar, or kanban view, whatever fits how your brain works - Filter to just your sessions, your team's, a specific room, or a type of event (work, fun, excursion) - Zoom out for the high-level picture, or open any session for the full details "Eating our own dog food" is a core part of how we build and a 5-day event with hundreds of sessions/activities/options is a great stress test for our product team. The good news so far is that this is working even better than what we used in the past! Here's a quick look at it in action 👇 https://lnkd.in/eCTNRHbG

We've been getting lots of questions about AI workflows lately. Whether you're into that or not, we want to know where you stand. Todoist works best when it fits perfectly into your life. For some, that means connecting it to Notion or GCal. For others, that means using it with Claude, Ramble, and ChatGPT. So: would it be helpful to see more Todoist AI workflow content from us?
