  • By training ROG the Dog therapy animals to detect the scent of high cortisol, handlers can intervene precisely when a first responder needs support most. As part of our therapy dog program, these intelligent doodle breeds and their dedicated handlers undergo extensive training to build a solid foundation of trust. Certified to remain calm and obedient in chaotic environments, these teams serve as a deployable national resource for peer support, crisis response, and mental health resiliency. http://go.att.com/bba955fd

  • Nathan T. Johnson - Real County, Texas Sheriff shares his POV on the recent flooding in Texas Hill Country. “During this week’s flooding, reliable communications have been critical to protecting lives and coordinating response efforts across Real County. The support provided by FirstNet and its Response Operations Group have helped ensure our first responders remain connected as they serve our communities during this challenging time. When conditions are changing rapidly, dependable communications can make all the difference.” Our thoughts remain with the Texas communities affected by this tragic flooding event. As public safety’s partner, the FirstNet, Built with AT&T team is on the ground to help ensure first responders and those essential to their operations have the dedicated connectivity they require.

  • ⚽ Every match had a scoreboard. But behind the scenes, first responders focused on a different kind of win: helping keep people safe and operations moving. Our teams spent more than 2 years coordinating with public safety agencies at the federal, state and local levels to help support reliable communications during soccer’s biggest moments. Across 11 host cities, we supported 300+ agencies at 140+ venues, from airports and fan fests to stadiums and team base camps - with the FirstNet Response Operations Group on site to support public safety before and during the matches. http://go.att.com/4b5adbe8

  • The connection between a handler and a ROG the Dog therapy dog goes far beyond basic commands. 🐾 As part of our therapy dog program, these teams serve as a national resource for our first responder wellness and crisis response. Whether on a high-stress call or decompressing at home, they always look out for each other.

  • Our thoughts are with the communities affected by the widespread flooding in Central and South Texas. As the public safety network provider we are dedicated to keeping first responders connected. The FirstNet Response Operations Group (ROG) is on the ground assisting first responders with their critical connectivity needs and has deployed dedicated FirstNet portable cell sites at public safety’s request. FirstNet liaisons are also in contact with federal, state and local officials and the team is prepared to deploy additional dedicated FirstNet assets at the request of public safety to further support their emergency communications as needed.
