💡 The world is changing, are we keeping up? From personal to work, digital skills are essential. Whether applying for jobs, attending online meetings or using AI tools, these skills are fundamental for numerous jobs. In 2025, 93% of people in the EU used the internet at least once a week, yet 40% of EU citizens still lack basic or above basic digital skills. And the age is also a factor: only 33% of people aged 65-74 have at least basic digital skills, contrasting with 75% of Europeans aged 16-34. These gaps can affect access to job opportunities, highlighting the importance of continuous upskilling and reskilling. The Digital Skills and Jobs Platform, is an EU initiative that provides a wide range of high-quality information, resources and opportunities in the area of digital skills and jobs across all levels, from very basic to advanced. 🤖 Can you spot when you interact with AI systems? Or when you see AI-generated content? We’ve just published draft guidelines to help AI deployers and providers comply with transparency obligations under the AI Act. AI providers will need to inform people when they are: ▪️interacting with an AI system, and add machine-readable labels to enable the detection of AI-generated or manipulated content ▪️exposed to deepfakes, AI-generated text publications on matters of public interest, or emotion recognition and biometric categorisation systems The draft guidelines aim to clarify the scope of the transparency obligations and to provide practical examples and explanations to support providers and deployers → link.europa.eu/GRmRPq.
