Sprout through to Charleroi Esports grand final over Epsilon

Sprout have defeated Epsilon in two maps to advance to the grand final at Charleroi Esports (16-8 on Inferno and 16-10 on Mirage).

The first semi-final at Charleroi Esports featured Sprout and Epsilon. The action kicked off on Inferno where the CT-sided Epsilon took the lead after Kia "⁠Surreal⁠" Man's triple kill in the pistol round. Sprout returned the favor with a five-round streak to lead 5-1.

Nils "⁠k1to⁠" Gruhne and Surreal got two AUG kills each in the 7th round as Epsilon secured their second. Sprout managed to hit back and extended their lead to 10-3. Epsilon picked up the last two rounds of the first half and trailed 10-5 at halftime.

Sprout won the first two rounds in the second half thanks Josef "⁠faveN⁠" Baumann's triple kills (12-5). Joey "⁠CRUC1AL⁠" Steusel responded with a quad kill in the first weapon round, making it 12-6, but Sprout went on to take the map victory with a 16-8 final scoreline.

The series continued on Mirage and Epsilon secured the pistol round to get off to a good start on the T-side. Sprout tied the game at 3-3 after losing the first three rounds but they couldn't go ahead as Helvijs "⁠broky⁠" Saukants and CRUC1AL won a 2vs4 in the seventh round (4-3). However, the German team won six of the following eight rounds to finish the half with a 9-6 lead.

Sprout won the second pistol round despite giving away the first two kills to broky, reaching double-digits (10-6). Epsilon responded with a full-eco victory in the following round as Sprout lost players to USP-S and Zeus kills. CRUC1AL and company got within one round of Sprout but the Germans' three-round run extended their lead to 13-9. Sprout closed out the map with a 16-10 score, winning the series 2-0 and becoming the first grand finalists at Charleroi Esports.
