She also produced "Taxi Driver" (1976), which was nominated for Best Picture and "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" (1977). As an author, she wrote the best-selling autobiography chronicle ''You'll Never Eat Lunch in This Town Again" (1991) about her experiences in Hollywood, followed by "Driving Under Affluence" (1995).
