FIT/One Wuerzburg Baskets (BBL) inked 28-year old American 187cm point guard Brae Ivey (college: SJSU, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) for upcoming season. Ivey played most recently at Veolia Towers Hamburg (BBL). The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 32 BBL games he averaged impressive 15.7ppg, 4.0rpg, 4.8apg and 1.8spg last season. A very good year in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-German League Honorable Mention. He also played 18 games in Eurocup where he had 11.2ppg, 2.9rpg, 4.5apg and 1.7spg.
Ivey ended the previous (2023-24) season at Basquet Girona in Spanish Liga Endesa. In four games he recorded 4.8ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.0apg in that year. But the most of that year he spent at Juventus in Lithuanian LKL. In 14 games he got 14.4ppg, 3.6rpg, 3.4apg and 1.9spg in that year. He also played 4 games in European North Basketball League where he got remarkable 17.0ppg, 3.8rpg and 2.8apg in that year.
Ivey has played previously professionally in Poland (Czarni) and North Macedonia (MZT Skopje, KK Feniks 2010 Skopje and Akademija FMP Skopje).
He won North Macedonian League championship title in 2022.
Ivey graduated from San Jose State University in 2020 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball. He played also for Riverside City College for one year.
