In 2026, the CMAJ Group will publish 43 CMAJ online issues, with a selection of articles appearing in the print version, published every two months. Subscriptions to the print version run on a calendar year and are available by contacting [email protected].
The CMAJ Group launched JAMC (Journal de l’association médicale canadienne) in 2021. JAMC contains certain key articles that have been translated from CMAJ. The paper version of JAMC is published six times a year. Read more about JAMC.

Institutions may order CMAJ through their subscription agents or directly from The CMAJ Group. The publisher offers a 5% discount on each paid subscription received from recognized subscription agents. Orders from agents must include end-user contact information.
All subscriptions are payable in advance, in Canadian dollars (CAD) for Canadian addresses and in US dollars (USD) for all other addresses. Payments can be made by credit card, ETF (in Canada), or by wire transfer.
Claim and backfile policy: Claims and backfile requests must be made within 3 months of the date of publication to be honored and replaced free of charge (subject to availability). Replacement copies of older issues will be charged at the single-issue rates (subject to availability).
