August 6, 2026, Tokyo - Celsys today announces the winning entries of the eighth Global Comic Awards held in cooperation with Mangadraft, an online platform for independent comics and manga in France and Belgium, on the theme of “Impact”. The MANGA/COMIC Grand Jury Prize goes to IMPACT by artist GaeZin, and the WEBTOON Grand Jury Prize goes to Punch Back! by artist Cabrita Cuernitos.
Open for entries from April 30 to June 30, 2026, this iteration of the contest received 812 comic entries in many genres and styles. The Global Comic Awards aims to encourage artists to present their creations, connecting winning artists with sponsor companies from the comic industry such as JumpTOON, KADOKAWA, and more. In addition to connections with sponsor media and a Clip Studio Paint EX activation code, the Comic Grand Prize and Webtoon Grand Prize receive US$2,200 in prize money. Cash prizes are also given for the Judge’s Pick and the Most Voted winners, along with 5 Excellence Awards.
Celsys will continue to collaborate with leading enterprises in comic culture both in Japan and across the globe, to support young creators in their goal of becoming professional comic artists.

Camille Fourcade (Illustrator)
Camille Fourcade (or Ludmi) is a French illustrator based in Nantes. After training at an animation school in Paris, she ultimately decided to pursue illustration and began her career by creating two webtoons for the Ono platform. She now diversifies her work, creating illustrations for children's books, covers for fantasy novels, and is currently working on her first graphic novel, published by Dupuis.
