RTV block doubles Super RTL slot average

German kids channel Super RTL has doubled its ratings in the kids 3-13 demographic, thanks to RTV Family Entertainment's new Ravensburger TV block.

The block, which is managed by RTV, runs from 09:00-11:00, Monday to Friday. Since launch four weeks ago, it has been attracting an average 30% of that target demograhic, with animated shows like Rotten Ralph and Timonthy Goes To School, both of which have peaked at 47% of kids 3-13.

Other weekday shows include Costa, Donkey Kong Country, Flying Rhino Junior High and Brothers Flub.

The Sunday block has so far been filled with the live-action adbeture Enid Blyton – The Secret Series. But from July 29, it will include George Shrinks. Other Sunday shows include Sweat and Clowning Around.
