Taoyuan Pilots (PLeague+) signed 25-year old Taiwanese-Canadian international forward Jonah Morrison (203cm-102kg-2000) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He has played for the last four years at New Taipei CTBC DEA in the TPBL. TPBL was a little too high level for him, where in three games he did not score anything and had only 1 rebound and 1 assist. PLeague+ will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
He has also been a member of the Taiwanese international program for some years. Morrison has regularly played for the Taiwanese senior team since 2018 and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2018.
He also represented Taiwan at the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers this year. During this event, he scored an average of 4.4 ppg and had 2.7 rpg.
Morrison has played previously in Canada with the Thunderbirds.
He won the Taiwanese League championship title in 2023.
