Public Policy Institution of Zambia (PPIZ) has called on the Industrial Development Corporation to bid to take over of Konkola Copper Mines (KCM).
PPIZ president Fabian Chewe said the IDC was an investment vehicle for the Government and there would be nothing amiss with it making a bid for KCM on behalf of the Zambian people.
"IDC being a parent company of ZCCM Investment Holdings is better placed to run KCM," he said.
