Nigeria: Gosgem to Hold Music Symposium in Lagos

International music mentorship platform, Gosgem, will be holding a symposium aimed at developing the gospel music industry on April 1 at The Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Tagged 'The Effulgence, ' the symposium will feature Don Moen, TY Bello, Danny Duncan, Linus Idahosa, Lynda St Nwafor, Adlan Cruz, Lovelace Lovelace, Evangelist Kathy Woghiren, Frank Edwards, Dee Jones, PeeYuu, Joe Praize and a host of others. It will be hosted by Sinach.

The Head of Public Relations, Gosgem Concepts, Mr Eric Anthony, explained that with the undeniable rise of gospel music content across global platforms from Africa, Gosgem seeks to consolidate and expand this growth by bridging the gap between the content creators and stakeholders in the industry.

"We will create a network of resourceful mentors across the globe. This event is set up to redefine and upgrade the gospel music space in Africa. It is for all aspiring and established artists, labels, artist managers, brand managers and interested members of the public, " he added.

Anthony also described Sinach's achievements as phenomenal and worthy of study, saying she recently became the first Nigerian gospel singer to cross the 100 million mark in a single track on YouTube with her song, Way Maker.

Meanwhile, Sinach will also be holding a concert on March 30 at The Loveworld Arena, Lekki, Lagos.
