Zambia: Ndhlovu Mints Silver At SA Squash Tourney

ZAMBIA'S Kelvin Ndhlovu won silver at the 2019 Northerns PSA Satellite tournament in South Africa.

Ndhlovu, who was tournament seed one, lost the highly charged final 3-2 (11-9, 7-11, 11-4, 3-11, 8-11) having started brightly as he won the first set before he eventually tumbled to South Africa's Jean-Pierre Brits at the Pretoria Country Club.

"He was just too sharp for me. You know the season is just starting but that is not an excuse. I shall bounce back in the next competition. My opponent made it seem slightly tough for me but it was nevertheless a hard fought final win for him too," Ndhlovu said in an interview.
