Africa: Eaton Recognizes Energy Conservation Efforts At the East Africa's CIO100 Awards

Planes, Hospitals, Factories, Data centers, Vehicles and the electrical grid have emerged as the service and utilities people depend upon everyday and Eaton one of the powerhouses in management of clean power stood-firm to partner with CIO East Africa to sponsor the Green Edge Award on the fifth year in a row.

Several companies yearning for clean power rely on Eaton to solve some of the toughest power management challenges on the planet since the organization provides energy-efficient solutions that help customers effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power more efficiently, safely and sustainably. It is dedicated to improving the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.

Eaton's PowerSource gives solutions to more than 200,000 hydraulic products including product specifications, CAD files, Power Management, Ethics, Manufacturing, Sustainability, Aerospace, Electrical, Hydraulics, Filtration, Automotive, Truck, Hybrid Power, Industrial Clutches and Brakes, and Plastic Extrusion.

In the just concluded CIO100 Symposium and Awards in Naivasha, Kenya, Eaton had partnered with CIO East Africa, to host two and half-day symposium.

This year's Green Edge award was won by Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Paraq Medirratta, Eaton's managing director was proud to present the category's coveted award in person to Ol Pejeta's IT team leadership who were all elated with the surprise win.
