Kenya: NMG Executive Named Among Top 25 Women in Digital

Nation Media Group Head of Digital Rashmi Chugh has been named in the list of the Top 25 women in digital 2018.

Top women in Digital recognizes women working in digital and who have directly or indirectly contributed to the growth and use of digital for personal and social good.

"Rashmi Chugh, Group Head of Digital at the Nation Media Group in Kenya, is a publisher and former Business Head for News-websites at HT Media, having started her career as a Journalist with the Press Trust of India. Her mandate at the Nation Media Group is to provide digital direction and strategy for the groups media brands," read part of her bio on the Digitalk website.

Other Kenyans women in the list are media personalities Janet Mbugua and Grace Msalame, food blogger Kaluhi Adagala and sports journalist Carol Radull among others.

Women in digital initiative empowers women with digital skills and knowledge, career opportunities, business lead and connection with the digital ecosystem.

It has three events that deliver well thought out value to women, these include monthly talks for awareness and knowledge sharing, conference for skills and ecosystem connection and annual honorary recognition for rewarding and honoring the best and most inspiriting women in digital.
