Khartoum — The Minister of Petroleum, Gas and Minerals , Eng. Azhary Abdul-Gader Abd Allah and the Ambassador of Norway to Khartoum discussed means of technical cooperation in area of oil and gas industry.

Eng. Azharuy Abdul-gader affirmed during his meeting with the Norwegian ambassador to Sudan Monday importance of technical cooperation between the two countries in domain of traning of technical cadres of oil and gas sector.

He expressed readiness of the Ministry to develop programs to tackles issues of oil and gas and to maximize the aspired benefits.

For his part, the Norwegian Ambassador expressed his country's desire to expand horizons of economic and investment cooperation as well as exchange of experiences.

He disclosed that the agreements signed in 2005 between the Ministry of Oil and Norway included training and provision of technical aid to Sudan.
