Khartoum — Minister of Animal Resources, Fisheries and Wildlife , Adam Daggash announced formulation of integrated matrix on development of animal resources sector by rehabilitating slaughterhouses to cope with international standards and introducing up-to-date technologies to increase production.

This cae when he received Sunday a delegation from Eidal-Fursan Locality in South Darfur State led by Ali Adam Sultan.

The meeting discussed provision of veterinary services , medicines and mobile clinics.

The Minister said Eidal-Fursan Locality is rich with animal resources and that it deserves support to develop the sector , indicating to the state policy set to export meats instead of live animal by 2020 to make use of the value added.

The delegation, in turn, lauded efforts made by the Federal Ministry of Animal Resources to develop the sector of animal wealth so as to feed the treasury with hard currencies.
