Khartoum — Assistant of the President of the Republic, Dr. Faisal Hassan Ibrahim, received in his office at the Republican Palace Thursday the Ambassador of China to Khartoum, Li Lianhe, on the occasion of the expiry of his office term in Sudan.

Dr. Faisal has affirmed the keenness of Sudan to strengthen further its relations with China for the interest of the two peoples. He praised the efforts exerted by Ambassador Li Lianhe, for promoting the relations and cooperation between Khartoum and Beijing.

The Chinese Ambassador has appreciated the great cooperation he found from Sudan government and its institutions in performing his duties. He also expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Sudanese people for the generosity, love and cooperation they accord to him.
