Angola: Portuguese National Sentenced to One Year in Prison for Vandalism in Taag Flight

Luanda — A Portuguese national was sentenced Thursday in Luanda, a year in jail for vandalizing a TAAG plane - Angola Airlines and uttering obscene words to the flight attendants.

During a trip between Lisbon to Luanda, the Angolan capital city, Rubem Martins Nunes 34, "rebelled" against the flight attendants of the D-2 TEK 651 aircraft of the national flag company, for supposedly not having satisfied his desires.

However, the penalty may be suspended and converted into a fine of eight 1, 800 dollars, TAAG security officer José de Sousa informed to Angop.
