Police are looking for two men who killed an elderly woman after pretending to be plumbers sent by the owner of the house in Akiba estate, Langata to do repairs.
According to the husband of the deceased, his wife, who was 73 years old, was strangled and his daughter aged 43 was tied up as the criminals ransacked the house.
According to police report, the owner of the house received a call on Monday afternoon informing him that his family had been attacked.
The attackers stole four mobile phones and other household goods of unknown value.
The body of the deceased was taken to Mater Hospital mortuary for postmortem.
