Nigeria: Omeruo Not Listed in Chelsea Squad

High hopes held by Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo for a permanent stay at Chelsea next season, have been temporarily dashed, following the London club's decision to leave his name out of their latest official squad list.

In contrast with Omeruo's fervent desire to gain a relevant spot at Stamford Bridge, his name has not been added to Chelsea's first-team squad, but is set to be shipped out on loan before the window shuts.

Rather than find his way into Chelsea's main team, Omeruo will again train with Chelsea loan players when he arrives for pre-season. Omeruo may now be compelled to seal talks with KAA Gent of Belgium, who are said to have contacted his agent over a transfer this summer.
