Rahul Singh is President of HCL’s Financial Services Division and is responsible for leading the business, developing client relationships and investing in strategic initiatives which meet next generation Technology and Operations needs of Financial Services and Fintech clients.
An accomplished leader Rahul has 30 years of rich experience across industry segments such as Outsourcing, Technology, Banking and Financial Services. He is credited as the pioneer in the Financial Services - Business Process Outsourcing industry in India.
Rahul started his career with Citibank in 1986 and over the years occupied varied positions in Business & Technology. In 1998, he founded and became the first Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Citigroup Global Services (aka : eServe International) – India’s first Financial Services BPO organization. eServe grew to a 15000 people organization with multiple service lines and was acquired by TCS in 2009.
Rahul is a Mechanical Engineer and an MBA (Finance) from Mumbai University. He has also completed a Senior Executive Program from the London Business School, UK.
Rahul is an avid business reader with interests in photography & electronics. He has a passion for Sustainability and supports organizations engaged in these activities.
