HCL secured a position in “India Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI) 2015” with an overall score of 90. A steep rise from a total score of 75 (2014) to 90 (2015).
HCL Technologies Limited has been conferred with the prestigious “Golden Peacock Award for Occupational Health & Safety” for the year 2015, by “Institute of Directors”. The Award ceremony was organised on 11th July 2015, and the ceremony was presided over by The Rt. Hon. Baroness Verma, Minister for International Development, Govt. of UK.

2012
NASSCOM EXemplary Talent (NExT) Practices Awards were established in 2011 to recognize innovative talent initiatives that are geared towards business needs of the Indian IT-BPO sector and the future readiness for its talent pool. HCL won this based on our commitment to being a Socially Responsible Business, for which we are on track to hire 10,000 local HCLites in Europe and US; in addition to this, our current presence in 31 countries and the fact that in 19 of these countries we have more than 50 percent local workforce. This figure of local workforce is 80 percent if we consider senior leadership in all countries where we are present.
Our balanced global presence is fueled by a three-pronged approach of:

HCL submitted the nominations supported by strong case studies and emerged as a winner in the 'Glocalisers' category. The participation was open to all members and non-members of NASSCOM. All participating companies had to submit a case to support their nomination/s and entries were shortlisted by NASSCOM and their knowledge partner Mercer. The shortlisted companies were then invited to present their nomination/s to an independent Jury in the final round in Bangalore.
Every year, the NASSCOM NExT awards aim to pick up key themes that are likely to play a crucial role in the Indian IT-BPO industry maintaining its leadership position in the global market and also to recognize unique HR initiatives by industry players.

In 2010 the company launched its Working Across Borders initiative, designed to foster knowledge and understanding among its diverse staff, as well as provide insight into the corporate culture itself. “The annual ‘Directions’ meet with employees is yet another example of how HCL is fostering transparency to make it part of its DNA and culture. Under the aegis of this platform, the company’s senior leadership, including the CEO, travel to different centres in India and abroad for a unique face-to-face interaction with all employees and talk about the company’s performance in the previous year, future strategies and arrive at decision in the most collaborative fashion.
