Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.

CopperheadOS is a source-available operating system for smartphones and tablet computers, based on the Android mobile platform. It is developed as source-available software based on the official releases of Android by Google, with added security features. Supported devices are currently limited to the Google Nexus line.[1][2][3]
History[edit]
In August 2016, CopperheadOS announced future versions of the operating system, based on Android Nougat 7.x, would be released under a no-commercial-usage license until more funding could be acquired.[4]
