Front-facing camera
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A front-facing camera is a feature of cameras, mobile phones and similar mobile devices that allows taking a self-portrait photograph or video while looking at the display of the device, usually showing a live preview of the image. Front-facing cameras are therefore an important development for videotelephony and the taking of selfies.[1][2][3]
History[edit]
Several mobile phones released in late 2003 introduced front-facing cameras, including the Sony Ericsson Z1010[4] and Motorola A835.[5]
The iPhone 4, released in 2010, was the first iPhone to include a front-facing camera module.
