Verona

The goal of this Project is to implement the new JDK version string as described in JEP-223. The new version-string scheme is designed to easily distinguish major, minor, and security-update releases.

  • verona/stage - Changesets in this forest will be pushed directly to jdk9/jdk9 (MASTER) when the feature is complete. The forest is sync'd with the JDK 9 MASTER typically Monday or Tuesday after the JDK 9 promotion.
  • Sandbox, JEP-223-branch - Changesets in this forest could evolve. Once they were stabilized, they were pushed to verona/stage on 12 Jun 2015. The branch is CLOSED.

    • Affects Version/s: To identify bugs in the verona/stage forest.
    • Fix Version: Automatic when a changest has been pushed to verona/stage.

      Note: You should not need to manually set a bug's Fix Version field when a changeset has been pushed. hgupdater will skip processing if the field has already been set.

  • verona label
    • To identify bugs of interest to Verona. They may or may not also use the 9-repo-verona version.
