Definition (MSHCZE) Hlen tvořený žlázkami v hrdle děložním (cervix uteri). Jeho vlastnosti se mění vlivem pohlavních hormonů; v první fázi menstrua�ního cyklu vlivem estrogenů je hojnější, tažnější a na laboratorním sklí�ku tvoří po zaschnutí obrazce připomínající kapradí („fenomén kapradí", arborizace). Vyšetření c. h. proto vypovídá o tvorbě estrogenů. Ve druhé fázi cyklu se podílí na uzavření děložního hrdla. Z vlastností c. h. lze usoudit na fázi cyklu a na hormonální �innost. Definition (MSH) A slightly alkaline secretion of the endocervical glands. The consistency and amount are dependent on the physiological hormone changes in the menstrual cycle. It contains the glycoprotein mucin, amino acids, sugar, enzymes, and electrolytes, with a water content up to 90%.
