Wikimedia Commons now has more than forty musical interpretations of 19th century compositions thanks to Wikimedia Spain’s collaboration with the country’s Museum of Romanticism.

Wikimedia Spain is working at three state museums in Madrid—the Museum of Romanticism, the Museo del Traje (Costume Museum) and the National Archaeological Museum—through its first Wikipedian in residence, Ruben Ojeda. We have hosted two concerts and donated the usable recordings to the Wikimedia Commons; a third concert is being held soon.

On September 25, 26 and 27, third Wikimedia Wikimedia Spain Celebrated STI Conference. It was organized Together with the graphic design studio Graphic Hare and Took place at University College Isabel of Spain , in Madrid.

Wikimedia Spain held a special edit-a-thon in December 2014, working with six different science and technology museums across Spain. Participants of all ages learned how to edit Wikipedia, making over 700 edits about Spanish scientists and inventors. (…)
