You shouldn’t use metal – power conuctivity. Use plastic instead.
Anyway, good idea for all-in-one box.
I’m also planning to do such thing with newly purchased D-Link DUB-H7 USB hub (black one, not silver)
Note that this is of RPi size, so perfect for integrating into one box.

I must agree with you on power conductivity but I’ve tried to insulate the case and avoid short circuits even if when dealing with low voltage dc current, thanks for your contribution and please feel free to add further tips here and in following posts as well.

What’s the problem with a metal case? Computers/electronics have been housed in metal cases since… forever.
A grounded metal case is actually a good thing. First, in the case of PC’s where line voltages are present, this provides protection to the user from the potential of electric shock. Second, a grounded case is likely to protect the internals from EMI, and the outside world from the radiation of RF.

I’ve no problems with metal cases like you, but there’s someone against them because they substain they can lead to short circuits or something like that (even if they still survive gracefully to their own PC with a metal case
). BTW I agree with you on a grounded case and I hope you like it even if my manufacturing skills are not excellent.
