MOSCOW, September 29. /TASS/. The interdepartmental commission on international flights authorizations under the Russian Ministry of Transport approved seven international routes for Pobeda lowcoster [Aeroflot’s subsidiary - TASS], a source close to the airline told TASS on Tuesday.
"The interdepartmental commission approved issue of conditional authorizations for seven international routes of Pobeda airlines. These are from Moscow to Bratislava, Dresden, Cologne, Bergamo, Salzburg, Chambery and Verona," the source said.
Authorizations will be issued as soon as amendments to the Federal Air Regulations canceling the condition of mandatory two-year domestic flight operations of airlines are approved, the source said. "As soon as amendments are approved, Pobeda will send a request to the Foreign Ministry and will be ready to open sales for international flights," the source added.
Pobeda Airline affiliated with the Aeroflot Group started ticket sales in November 2014 and plans to carry 2.8 - 3.2 mln of passengers by 2015 year-end.
