SPECIAL EVENT American Impressionist Candace Whittemore Lovely will present a one-woman show and sale of her works at the Renjeau Galleries in Concord Sept. 22-Oct. 14. The exhibition, "View Point: An Artist's Eye," will include oil paintings, serigraphs, etchings and prints. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Emerson Hospital Auxiliary.
Lovely's works are in the tradition of the Boston School, America's oldest school of painting. She has exhibited extensively in New York and New England. Her paintings appear in two books on American art, "Realism in Revolution: The Art of the Boston School" and "Interior Visions. …
