Crypto Offload Adapters

Cavium has a wide variety of NITROX® XL Adapter products. These adapters plug into industry-standard PCI Express Gen1, Gen2 and Gen3 slots. The adapters scale in performance from 5K 1024-bit RSA Operations/second to 1M 1024-bit RSA Operations/sec (upto 140K 2048-bit RSA Operations/sec)

The NITROX® XL CNN35XX family also supports industry leading compression (GZIP, PKZIP& LZS) and integrates SRIOV (Single Root IO Virtualization).

These adapters can be used for a wide variety of applications such as:

Cavium provides a comprehensive Software Development Kit that includes C-source code for Linux and FreeBSD drivers. The SDK also includes APIs for OpenSSL, OpenSSH, IPsec, Zlib, key management, test utilities and reference code for easy portability. The Crypto-API’s are backward compatible with previous generations of Nitrox Adapter families and are common between Cavium’s FIPS and the non-FIPS product providing customers with tremendous R&D leverage and re-use.
