Cavium' products for Wireless LAN solutions include three NITROX product families of security processors, comprising over 20 different parts that provide an unmatched set of price, performance and power options. Performance for the NITROX products spans from 50Mbps to over 10Gbps in encryption bandwidth with 1K to 50K DH/RSA operations per second. Both look-aside processors and in-line processors are available with support for PCI, PCI-X, HyperTransport, SPI3 and SPI4.2 interfaces.
All of Cavium products support IPsec, SSL, WPA and CCMP protocols and packet processing, either individually or in a multi-protocol fashion, to enable implementation of current and future WLAN security standards. Driver and API support for a wide selection of operating systems, including Linux, FreeBSD, Windows and Vxworks is provided along with portable drivers to integrate into proprietary OS environments.
Cavium' WLAN solutions are used in a range of equipment including WLAN access points, WLAN switches with IPsec, SSL and WLAN security protocols.
