Cavium' products for Storage Networking Solutions include three NITROX product families of security processors, comprising over 20 different parts that provide an unmatched set of price, performance and power options. Performance for the NITROX products spans from 50Mbps to over 10Gbps in encryption bandwidth with 1K to 50K Diffie Hellman operations per second. Both look-aside processors and in-line (bump in the wire) processors are available with support for PCI, PCI-X, HyperTransport, SPI3 and SPI4.2 interfaces.
All of Cavium products accelerate a comprehensive set of encryption algorithms as well as iSCSI standards compliant IPsec protocol and packet processing. iSCSI initiators and targets can offload IPsec alone or IPsec in combination with TCP or iSCSI offload. Driver and API support for a wide selection of operating systems, including Linux, FreeBSD, Windows and Vxworks is provided along with portable drivers to integrate into proprietary OS environments.
