Walk into a classroom of environmental engineering students and, odds are, nearly half of them will be women. Now head next door to an electrical engineering class: you’ll likely find eight men for every woman.

And we really need some compassionate and ethical engineers out there devising new "green technology" that is actually environment-friendly rather than certification-friendly or buzzword-compliant as is the case today.
(For the record, I'm a normal straight male)
