Al-Ras al-Ahmar was a Palestinian Arab village in the District of Safad. It was depopulated during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War on October 30, 1948 by the Sheva' (Seventh) Brigade during Operation Hiram. It was located 8.5 km north of Safad.
In 1945 it had a population of 620. The village had an elementary school for boys, which was founded during the British Mandate period and contained mosaics and wine presses with tessellated floors from the Byzantine period.
