G-protein coupled receptor family C group 6 member A is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GPRC6A gene.[1] This receptor functions as a sensor of L-amino acids,[2] osteocalcin,[3] and steroids.[4]

[edit] Clinical significance

GPRC6A has also been linked to prostate cancer progression, and it has been shown to mediated rapid, non-genomic prostate cancer cell responses to testosterone.[5]
