Fasiplon is a nonbenzodiazepine anxiolytic drug from the imidazopyrimidine family of drugs.

Fasiplon binds strongly to benzodiazepine sites on the GABAA receptor and has similar anxiolytic effects in animals, but with less sedative or muscle relaxant action.[1]
