N,N-Diallyltryptamine (DALT) is a psychedelic drug of the tryptamine class.[1] Alexander Shulgin reports that DALT is active at 42 mg orally, producing a +1 on the Shulgin scale, and being back to baseline by 4 hours.[1] It is said to have a similar potency to DMT, being active at doses of approximately 40-100 mg, and to have a duration of about 2-4 hours.[1] Relative to the other tryptamine psychedelics, DALT and 5-MeO-DALT are said to be much weaker and far more gentle in comparison.[1][2][unreliable source?] However, if smoked, they may be more comparable to DMT and the like, potentially capable of producing 'breakthrough' experiences.[3][unreliable source?]
