SB-742,457 is a selective 5-HT₆ receptor antagonist with cognition, memory, and learning-enhancing effects.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4] It is currently under development by GlaxoSmithKline for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and has demonstrated preliminary efficacy in phase II clinical trials.^[3]^[4]^[5]
