The Celebration of the Bicentennial Anniversary of the National Independence of Paraguay took place at the Rendezvous Hall of the Taj Hotel in the City of Mumbai on May 15th, 2011.

On May 18th, 2011, Ambassador of Paraguay, H.E. Genaro Vicente Pappalardo, offered a cocktail for the Diplomatic and Consular Corps, Authorities of the Government of India and friends of Paraguay on the occasion of the celebration of the Month of Paraguay (Mes de la Patria).

For the third year in a row, the Embassy of Paraguay in New Delhi was present at the Dia del Español organized by the Instituto Cervantes of New Delhi. The Stand of Paraguay showcased indigenous arts and crafts from the country and distributed information to visitors.
