Starting in 1996, Alexa Internet has been donating their crawl data to the Internet Archive. Flowing in every day, these data are added to the Wayback Machine after an embargo period.

Metadata and Resource Description
Metadata is machine understandable information for the web. The
W3C Metadata Activity addressed the combined
needs of several groups for a common framework to express assertions about
information on the Web, and was superceded by the W3C Semantic Web Activity.
W3C's Metadata Activity addressed the needs of PICS,
DSig, P3P, and
CC/PP.
