- Cheese Strategy: Nozzlo is stunned for a brief moment every time he's hit. If you manage to get him up against a wall, you can use the alien blunderbuss to hit with both the melee hitbox and the actual projectile. These combined stun him long enough for you to shoot again, letting you stunlock each of his encounters as long as you have enough moon drops to use as ammo.
- Fan Nickname: "Grambler" for the old lady who lets you play the gambling minigame, as a portmanteau of "grandma" and "gambler".
- Good Bad Bugs:
- The price of each seed from the Gumma Tree quadruples every time you buy one, starting at 10 moon drops. However, the price doesn't actually increase until the seed is planted, and buying a seed results in a relatively lengthy animation of it flying through the air and landing in the soil. If you can navigate the dialogue selection to "yes" while rapidly mashing through the dialogue boxes, you can plant as many as four seeds for the pittance of 40 drops total, when normally they'd respectively cost 10, 40, 160, and 640, and even if you fail at pulling this off with the initial seed, you can still save moon drops by getting the trick on later seeds.
- Originally, pressing the interact button by default caused a text box to appear saying 'There's nothing here.' Due to an oversight, this actually deletes enemy projectiles that are on-screen, allowing you to cheese certain enemies and minibosses. This was later changed in v1.3.1, which made it so that while in the Wild Zone, the text box is replaced by a floating text that does not interrupt gameplay.
