- Funny Moments:
- A moment of Black Comedy shortly after Martha's death. Her body is found in a room where the player-piano is playing a lively tune. This is already funny enough, but Annie and Tony are freaking out about... the player-piano, which they don't know how to shut off. Tony suggests kicking it to get it to stop. We then hear... a soft click, and the piano stopping, implied to be piano technician John Hobbes finding the switch.
- In the late-game of Incident, Reya views a recording showing Meg and Reya talking when the third power outage hits. Reya tries to start the generator back up, but it doesn't work. Meg, the company engineer, is the one to get it working again. Does she adjust a setting? Re-set a wire? No, she gives it a good smack.
- Inferred Holocaust: In Incident, basically the entirety of the senior staff of Dolskey & Moors is, over the course of one night, killed and erased by the curse, and Reya destroys the machine that's central to the company's services. This likely means that any remaining staff of Dolskey & Moors, Reya included, are suddenly out of work, and with a good deal of context for their employment suddenly erased, will likely have difficulty explaining this part of their job history. Staff who aren't Reya may even believe that they were part of an employment scam, and even Reya (who knows better) may have to explain her employment at D&M this way.
- Jerkass Woobie: Oswald Galley acts like a jerk to quite a few people in the household, but part of his lashing out is due to lingering pain from his sister Eleanor's death, and part is due to him losing his brother Rupert to the curse, distorting his memories of how his family actually came to be the way it is.
